Hello friends! We now have 5 neighborhood groups, and are ready to roll out the next new thing for this school season, our Mombassador program!
Are you a community-minded mama who is up to organizing local get-togethers for other area moms and families? Do you like running things? Are you looking to make more friends? Then this role is for you! We will be selecting two women from each Neighborhood Group to represent the Mombassador role. These mamas need to be strong communicators with a passion for developing community connections.
What Does a Mombassador Do?
•Engage with your Community Neighborhood Group on Facebook to conceptualize events for your neighborhood group (playground playdates, picnics, walking clubs, museum meet-ups, mom’s night outs, etc.).
- Encourage growth and connection within the on-line community you help manage through regular engagement.
•Execute community events for your Community’s Neighborhood Group (creating an event in Facebook, determining the meeting locations, handling reservations and communicating with venues as needed, etc.).
•Provide Community Coordinator with feedback and insight on the events (including seeking approval/guidance before proceeding with plans and troubleshooting as needed).
We need two Mombassadors for every group, and prefer to have one working mama, and one stay at home mom to represent each group properly. If this is something that you would enjoy doing, please fill out the questionnaire below, and we will be in touch shortly!
