A Sonoma County Meadow Nursery

The first day of fall was recently upon us and yet, temperatures are still soaring. I’m so ready to say “so long” to summer and hello to scarves and boots. So, as a farewell to summer, I thought I would put together a Sonoma County Meadow inspired nursery as a tribute to a season not quite gone. Bright colors are sprinkled all over this nursery along with a healthy dose of those adorable farm animals  that we often see grazing as we drive along Highway 12.

Cows, clouds, horses, pigs, sunshine, poppies, mustardy yellows – that’s the stuff this meadow nursery is made of. If my child didn’t have a ridiculous amount of stuffed animals, I would buy the entire catalog of Finkelstein’s “friends” and the Felt Flower Crib Mobile by MyDearEllie makes me swoon each time I look at it. In case you need a bit more inspiration to complete this nursery, here are a few more adorable and/or soft goodies to add to your shopping cart:

Like the Sonoma County Wilderness Inspired Nursery, this fantasy room was inspired by the landscape that surrounds us. Seen through a child’s eyes, its even more rich with wonder.
