I have a serious love for salsa, I mean, who doesn’t right. Chips and salsa are life.
Cinco De Mayo is upon us friends and I don’t know about you, but there is a pitcher of sangria and a bowl of chips and salsa with my name on it. Making salsa is so quick and easy, you’ll never buy store bought again!
Gather The Ingredients
1 12oz can diced tomatoes (I used fire roasted)
1 jalapeno (ribs and seeds removed)
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tbs. white vinegar
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
Juice of 1 lime
Blend in food processor until desired consistency.
Tip Alert: This salsa is also easy to customize. Like it hot, swap the jalapeno for a habanero. Have a garden bursting with tomatoes, use fresh instead of canned. Garlic lover, add more cloves of garlic! Do you love that roasted, smoky flavor, try roasting all the veggies in the oven before adding to the food processer.
Serve with your favorite chips and enjoy!
