#WineCountryStrong: Resources and Information for Napa and Sonoma

Wine Country is in the literal thick of a living nightmare. If you’re like us, you’re probably feeling helpless and frustrated. One of the most frustrating things about a natural disaster, especially one of this size and devastation, is the inconsistency of communication. For that reason, we spent the past three days trying to sort and collect as much information as we could for Napa and Sonoma Counties (we realize the fire is moving to Lake and Solano, but at this point have not collected enough resources for those communities).

We have collected the most  accurate information that we can find for the region of Napa and Sonoma. But know that these resources MAY change. Please check with the businesses to confirm services are still available.

To all of my friends who have kiddos in the fire area, if you need somewhere to take your little ones (all ages) while you work or handle issues with the fire, or just want to come with your family to get away from the madness, my work will be setting up a child friendly space here in Santa Rosa on Skylane Blvd. during operation hours from 9am-5pm (later if needed, just not overnight). We are currently in a safe space away from the fire near the Santa Rosa Airport. We have plenty of space in our gym as well as bathrooms, water and things for them to do… We will have a few teachers who are currently unable to work due to the fires that will be here to help watch them throughout the day and keep them occupied.

In order to maintain a controlled environment and a fair child to staff ratio, send me a message or call/text me for details and so we can prepare for your arrival. We are also taking donation items, please just message me first prior to drop off as we are limited on what can be accepted.

Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to help!

Please call me at 707.674.1024 with any questions
