Holiday Tree Lighting
Friday, December 1st, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Shenandoah Park
 :: Bring your family and meet your friends for a lighted parade, carriage rides, live music, craft fair, food vendors, and a chance to take pictures with your favorite holiday characters including Santa, the Grinch, and Frosty! This is a free event and open to all. Hosted by the City of American Canyon.

Lighted Tractor Parade
Saturday, December 2nd, 7:00 p.m. along Lincoln Ave in downtown Calistoga :: Bundle up with sweaters and blankets and join the lighted and festive fun as 60 decorated tractors, floats, and farm equipment parade through downtown! Hosted by Visit Calistoga. || Even if you can’t attend this event, please vote for the Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade as the Best Holiday Parade in the United States! Holiday Tree Lighting
Friday, December 1st, starting at 4:00 p.m. in La Plaza Park :: Join the holiday fun at the City of Cotati’s annual tree lighting! Food and craft vendors will be available to enjoy early in the evening, followed by music, coffee and cocoa, and cookies well into the event. Be sure to check out the children’s crafts and story time fun, as well as keep an eye out for special holiday visitors! Hosted by the City of Cotati

18th Annual Tree Lighting Celebration
Saturday, November 25th, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center :: This holiday celebration at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center includes puppet shows, live music, and a character parade! Santa will even make a special appearance, and children will have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa after the tree lighting. Hosted by Jelly Belly.

Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Festivities
Friday, December 1st, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. in downtown Fairfield at Jefferson & Texas Streets ::  Hosted by the Fairfield Main Street Association.

>> Geyserville

Geyserville Anuual Tree Lighting & Tractor Parade
Saturday, November 25th, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Visitor Plaza :: Join Santa and Mrs. Claus at Visitor Plaza around 5:00 p.m., followed by caroling and the tree lighting around 6:00 p.m.! Stay for the lighted tractor parade at 6:30 p.m., which will make one pass through town, starting at the north end. Downtown shops and restaurants will be open extended hours, and reservations are highly recommended. The firehouse will be selling chili and cornbread for $5 or an unwrapped, new toy donation. The Odd Fellows will also have hot dogs available.  Hosted by the Geyserville Chamber of Commerce

16th Annual Holiday Extravaganza & Holiday Parade of Lights :: This multi-day celebration includes a tree lighting and a parade of lights, each on different nights. Hosted by the Russian River Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of Stumptown. See below for day-specific information.

Thursday, November 30th, 5:00 p.m. :: Along with a Merchant Open House, kick off the holiday season by watching the tree lighting!

Saturday, December 2nd, 7:00 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Guerneville :: Bundle up and bring the family out to this bright tradition for some holiday fun! The lighted parade will feature numerous floats, horses, and other festive entries surrounding the theme “A Storybook Holiday.” The special celebrity judge this year is Alison Arngrim, who played Nellie on Little House on the Prairie. 

>> Healdsburg

Downtown Holiday Party
Friday, November 24th, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in downtown Healdsburg on the Square :: Kick off the holiday season with fun on the Square! Take a photo with Santa in the gazebo, enjoy a magician performance, music, carolers and carriage rides (weather permitting), and shop the downtown for unique gifts. Hosted by the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau

>> Mill Valley

Sunday, December 3rd, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in Downtown Plaza :: Winterfest is Mill Valley’s annual signature event! Gear up for a full day of fun with a snow sledding hill, a visit from Santa in a fire truck, children’s activities, live entertainment, and local food. The evening ends with the big tree lighting! Hosted by the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center

>> Napa

Christmas Tree Lighting
Wednesday, November 22nd, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Veterans Park at Third & Main in downtown Napa :: Join your neighbors the night before Thanksgiving in Veterans Park for the annual tree lighting! Enjoy free hot cocoa and cookies, as well as entertainment from Napa youth groups. Mayor Jill Techel will lead the countdown to light the Christmas tree. Hosted by Do Napa.

Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Silverado
Friday, November 24th, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Silverado Resort & Spa :: Come enjoy holiday caroling by the Vintage Choir, say hello to Santa, and sip on hot chocolate and hot toddies at the tree lighting! Guests are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Hosted by the Silverado Resort & Spa.

Napa’s Christmas Parade
Saturday, November 25th, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Second & Third Streets in downtown Napa :: Grab a cozy blanket and check out the illuminated cars, trucks, people and animals in the “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” themed parade this year! Hosted by Do Napa.

Napa Lighted Art Festival
Saturday, December 9th – Sunday, December 17th, 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. each night in downtown Napa and the Oxbow District :: Get out, go for a stroll, and experience eight to ten original art pieces that light up as projected art displays onto buildings throughout downtown Napa and the Oxbow District! Don’t miss this unique experience during the season of lights. Hosted by Do Napa.

Santa’s Riverboat Arrival & Small Business Saturday
Saturday, November 25th, 11:00 a.m. 
:: Enjoy live entertainment until Santa arrives by tug boat around 12:00 p.m. Visit with Santa before heading downtown to support Small Business Saturday! Hosted by Petaluma, CA Visit and the Petaluma Downtown Association.

Light Up a Life Community Tree Lighting & Remembrance Celebration
Friday, December 1st, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Walnut Park :: This event includes a community tree lighting, music, inspiration, and remembrance during the holiday season. Thousands of bright lights will shine to symbolize the lives, hopes, and dreams of the community. With a $10 donation, a light can be dedicated in memory or in honor of a loved one. Hospice will also send an acknowledgment card to your family and friends sharing your gift of light. Parade of Lights & Winter Wonderland 2017
Friday, November 24th, 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. in downtown San Rafael at 4th Street 
:: Join the full day of fun at San Rafael’s 38th annual holiday event! The event will include a marketplace with arts and crafts, children’s activities, snow sledding, and live entertainment. The holiday parade begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the much-anticipated tree lighting with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the mayor. Free event for all ages. Hosted by Steven Restivo Event Services.

Festival of Lights
Sunday, December 10th, 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Osher Marin JCC :: It’s the biggest Hanukkah party in Marin! Enjoy dancing at the Glow in the Dark Dance Party, arts and crafts, games, face painting, live music, swimming, and more. Free event for all. Hosted by Osher Marin JCC, PJ Library of the San Francisco Region, Marin JCC Camp Kehillah, Reboot, and Center for Jewish Peoplehood

>> San Anselmo

Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Sunday, December 3rd, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. in Imagination Park :: Join the town for an old-fashioned evening of festivities that include selfies with Santa, children’s crafts, treats for the kids, and performances by the Sir Francis Drake High School Band! Free event for all ages. Hosted by the San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce. 

>> Santa Rosa

Winter Lights
Friday, November 24th, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in downtown Santa Rosa’s Old Courthouse Square :: Santa Rosa’s annual tree lighting event is full of fun, and this year’s theme, “I believe in SANTA Rosa,” illustrates the hope and strength that’s been present after all the community has endured. The evening begins with the arrival of Santa on top of a fire truck, and families can continue the fun with numerous children’s activities, as well as enjoy local food and drink. This year’s event will also have a Remembrance Candle Lighting hosted by Sutter Care at Home that leads into the tree lighting. Holiday Tree Lighting
Thursday, November 30th, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Sebastopol Town Plaza at Petaluma & McKinley Avenues :: Head on out to help light the Town Tree! Festive activities will include children’s crafts, complimentary hot beverages, Santa’s arrival on a fire truck, and live entertainment from Lighthouse Children’s Choir, Sebastopol Community Band, and more. Hosted by the Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce

>> Sonoma

Annual Lighting of the Snowmen Festival
Saturday, December 2nd, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Sonoma 
:: Kick off the holiday season by bringing the family to watch the annual Lighting of the Snowmen at Cornerstone! Enjoy holiday music, lights and decorations, kid crafts, beer and wine tastings, warm beverages, and much more. Free admission. Parking is a $10 donation to charity. Hosted by Cornerstone Sonoma

Annual Holiday Tree Lighting & Celebration
Saturday, December 2nd, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Robert Mondavi Winery
:: Join the festive fun as Robert Mondavi Winery hosts its annual holiday tree lighting and celebration! The merriment includes horse and buggy rides through vineyard, carolers, cheese and charcuterie appetizers, holiday cookies, hot cider, and wine.  Admission is $25 per person, or complimentary for Wine Club Members or with a donation to the Napa Valley Food Bank. 

>> Tiburon

Tiburon Festival of Lights
Saturday, December 2nd, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. in downtown Tiburon
 ::  The tree lighting is the highlight of the festival! Tiburon’s Mayor and Santa Claus make the holiday season official by lighting the Town’s Christmas tree around 6:00 p.m. Enjoy live singing by the Redwood High School Choir, and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate from Belvedere Hawthorne Nursery School. Hosted by Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce

>> Windsor

Windsor Holiday Celebration
Thursday, December 7th, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on the Town Green :: The Town Green will be full of festivities at the 17th Annual Windsor Holiday Celebration! Be sure to catch Santa and Mrs. Claus singing with the Windsor Community Children’s Choir, as well as sip on a cup of hot cocoa. Multiple children’s activities will take place in Huerta Gym, including gingerbread cookie decorating and photos with Santa for $10. Jump on a horse-drawn wagon ride and/or a “Polar Express” train ride for $1 each, too. The tree lighting will take place at 7:00 p.m., along with “snow fall” in Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tree Grove. Free for all ages. Hosted by the Town of Windsor
