5 Novato Brunch Spots to Start Your Weekend Off Right

5 Novato Brunch Spots to Start Your Weekend Off RightBrunch is my family’s favorite meal. The sweet and savory component makes it easy for everyone to find something they love. And somehow, the kids always seem to get some sort of  “treat” for breakfast. So which restaurant is the best Novato brunch spot in my opinion? Keep scrolling to find out.

Kick the weekend off at one of my favorite Novato brunch spots!

877 Grant Avenue, Novato

Voted “Marin’s Best Kid-Friendly Restaurant” Finnegan’s is Novato’s favorite place to bring the family for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy your much-deserved mimosa on their brand new outdoor patio. Their Corned Beef Hash and Eggs is an adult favorite, and their kid’s Cinnamon French Toast will keep your little one’s happy. In addition, for every adult meal you purchase, a kid eats free all day every Sunday!

1516 Grant Avenue, Novato

A newer edition to the Novato brunch scene, Bacon is an upgraded “greasy spoon” diner. From Deep Fried Twinkies and Chicken and Waffles, to Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Bacon is the brunch spot to make sure to wear your “Thanksgiving Pants.” Additionally, their homemade jams are incredible and available for purchase. And their waitstaff makes sure your coffee is never cold. They also have a small patio to enjoy Downtown Novato. Make sure to get there early, as it fills up fast.

823 Grant Avenue, Novato

This is the place to visit with your children’s grandparents.  It has a larger outdoor patio and takes a fresh spin on more classic brunch cuisine. Locals love the Blue Corn Blueberry Pancakes with Orange Maple Syrup, as well as the Smoked Salmon Benedict with Grilled Tomato. While Grazie definitely has a classier vibe, it’s still very kid-friendly (and wallet-friendly, too). Also, you can’t beat a 99 cent mimosa!

5800 Nave Drive, Novato

Toast is a large, airy restaurant inside the Hamilton Marketplace with indoor and outdoor seating. Their unique menu items, such as Bacon and Eggs Pizza and Grilled Salmon Hash makes Toast stand out from a typical brunch spot. Sit outside so the kids can have plenty of space to run around while waiting for their  Nutella Crêpes.

Creekside Bakery

1719 Grant Ave, Novato

Creekside Bakery is between a florist and CVS in a strip mall off of Grant Avenue. Unless you know about this hidden gem, you have probably passed by without ever noticing. But the food is not to go unnoticed! Don’t expect a full brunch menu, though – they’re a bakery that serves a few breakfast and lunch items that are incredible. Quality over quantity is the motto here, and you can taste it in their soups, salads, quiches, and specialty toasts that change daily. Furthermore, Creekside Bakery makes their unparalleled breads, pastries, cakes and cookies daily.
