Guerneville Fireworks

June 30th, 2018

Friends of Stumptown and the Russian River Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the Guerneville Fireworks and Independence Day Celebration. When: Saturday, June 30th from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Where: Reserved for Spectators: the tree-lined center of Main Street Guerneville, right next to Larks Drugs What: Pyrotechnics Display of Fireworks celebrating our nation’s independence will begin at dusk and will be visible in downtown Guerneville.

Monte Rio Independence Day Celebrations 

June 30 -July 1, 2018

The fun runs all weekend long at Monte Rio’s annual celebrations, which include the Big Rocky Games on Saturday and Sunday. Boat rentals and food concessions start from 10 a.m. both days at Monte Rio Beach. Join in the fun of the games and feast at the Monte Rio Fire Station’s BBQ on Saturday. After a second day of the games, at dusk on Sunday, watch as participants unveil their homemade floats bedecked in lights and perform skits while floating past a cheering audience. That’s followed by a free show at the town’s famous water curtain, as images of the American flag are projected off the Monte Rio bridge, and then the dramatic fireworks display. 

2018 Fireworks over Bodega Bay

Fireworks show produced by Pyro Spectaculars will start at dark (9:30 p.m.) on Sunday, July 1. The display can be seen from all around Bodega Bay. Handicap parking at Westside Park. If you can see the protected waters of the Bodega Bay harbor, you should be able to see the show. It’s viewable from Westside Road, the north side of Doran Beach Road, Bay Flat Road, Smith Brothers Road and Highway 1 between Smith Brothers Road and Taylor Street. Please be careful where you park.

Independence Day Fireworks Sebastapol’s Extravaganza & Music Festival

July 3, 2018

2018 will be the 45th year for this special family tradition. The 3rd of July is our only fundraiser and all profits are donated back to the community!! Bands start to play, along with the dancing, at 6 pm. A flag ceremony, led by fife and drum, precedes the singing of the Star Spangled Banner and then the Blast-off of the fireworks show begins at approximately 9:40 pm. The cost for admittance is: General $10; Children (6 – 11) $5; ages 5 and under are free.

Windsor Kaboom!

Join the Town of Windsor and the Active 20-30 Club to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day on July 3, 2018 at Keiser Park in Windsor, California. With musical performances from Foreverland, The electrifying 14-piece tribute to Michael Jackson, Pat Jordan, and MC Danno at Froggy and all the food and fun your family could ask for, it’s the fireworks event you don’t want to miss! And it’s all for the kids! This year, not only are the fireworks a great event for kids of all ages, but a portion of ticket and drink sales will directly benefit local children’s programming through the Active 20 – 30 Club. American Canyon 4th of July

July 4

American Canyon has a tradition of coming out as a community and celebrating its patriotism through a full day of fun Fourth of July activities including a parade through the community and a festival capped off with one of the best fireworks shows in the North Bay! Last year, over 5,000 community members and friends came out and enjoyed our live entertainment stage, kid’s area with bouncers and other activities, food and drink vendors, information booths, and our great lawn (perfect for family picnic/gathering area). We hope you’ll join us this year!

Calistoga’s Star-Spangled Social

The Napa County Fair Association once again invites you to join us for Calistoga’s annual Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, July 4th, complete with parade, carnival, food, games, golf ball drop, and of course, fireworks! The parade will start at 11:00 am and will travel down Cedar Street, Lincoln Avenue, and Fair Way. The theme for this year’s parade is Celebrate Red, White, and Blue. We trust it will inspire your originality and creativity and we look forward to your entry. The carnival will open at 12:00 pm along with food, games, and live music. The social really gets underway at 6:00 pm when the gates open to the grass infield and everyone makes their way in to claim their piece of grass. Bring your own picnic or pick one up at the gate. It’s a throwback to the classics with hula-hoop contests, ice cream churnament, and more.

Fireworks will start when it gets good and dark outside.

Cloverdale Lions Club 4th of July Fireworks

A decades-old tradition in Cloverdale! The Lions Club presents a fantastic fireshows show on the 4th of July. The fun starts at dusk (9-ish) but get there early. Donations are always happily accepted. They help pay for this professionally produced show.

Healdsburg 4th of July Fireworks

Healdsburg’s firework display starts just after dusk at the Healdsburg High School Football Field. Take a blanket and picnic and enjoy this good ol’ small town celebration.

The 47th Kenwood Footrace

The Kenwood Footrace holds the distinction as the oldest running 10K footrace in California. In addition, the event also features a USATF Certified 3K race. This event is subject to selling out, so don’t forget to register early!

Be amazed by the largest fireworks display in Sonoma County, with our most exciting 4th of July program to date! This year Transcendence Theatre Company, best known for their Broadway Under the Stars performances, joins the Santa Rosa Symphony to present a show-stopping program celebrating the spirit of America! Bring the whole family – lawn tickets for kids 12 and under are half price, and kids under two are free!

Families – Make sure to arrive early and check out our Kids Zone beginning at 4:30 p.m., complete with carnival games, bounce houses, face painting, plus food, music, and more!

Santa Rosa’s Red, White & Boom! 2018

More than just a fireworks show – come join us for an afternoon and evening of food, live music, kid’s activities, and fun for the whole family! Check out our fantastic lineup of local bands and enjoy great food from the many local vendors who will be serving up their specialties. For the kids, we’ll have jumpy houses, face painters and more. The evening will conclude with amazing fireworks show simulcast live to music by our friends at KZST 100.1 FM Don’t forget your blankets, folding chairs, and jackets. Coolers are welcome, but… Please note: alcohol, glass containers, dogs, BBQs, personal fireworks, and tents are strictly prohibited. Additionally, tailgating in the parking lots will not be permitted.

Sonoma’s 4th of July on the Plaza

Named the eighth best 4th of July celebrations in the country by Travel+Leisure Magazine & Yahoo News, Sonoma’s 4th of July Celebration is a tradition that brings the community together in of all that makes Sonoma great and honors our great nations independence. The Parade begins at 10am winding its way around the town’s historic Plaza with around 60 entries. After the parade, enjoy an old-fashioned festival with food, drink and game booths by Sonoma’s non-profit organizations. All proceeds raised from the festival benefit Sonoma’s nonprofit community. The 4th of July festival concludes around 5 p.m. when all eyes shift to the skies at dusk above General Vallejo’s field for the spectacular fireworks show that lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Walk-In Wednesday: Free Monthly Open House at Connolly Ranch

Once a month, the ranch is open for the public to stroll in, visit the garden, relax in the grove, see the animals, and enjoy an afternoon on the farm! During our open community day, Connolly Ranch welcomes old friends to visit and new friends to discover us for the first time. Walk-in Wednesdays are held the first Wednesday of every month from 2 – 4 p.m. in the winter, and from 3 – 5 p.m. in the spring, summer and fall. This event is free, but there is a $5 suggested donation to help us keep it going. Each month, the ranch will play host to different farm activities hosted by our staff as well as the UC Master Gardeners. It is also a great time to learn about Connolly Ranch programs, events, and volunteer opportunities.

Napa Live

This one is big – a music crawl featuring live music in 35 venues, some inside and some outside, and all within walking distance of each other. The event is from Noon to 6 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month – July 8th, August 12th, September 9th, and October 15th in Downtown Napa. From blues to bluegrass, rock to reggae and funk to fiddles, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Best of all, it’s all free.

Wine Country Big Q Barbecue and Festival 2018

First Friday Kirtan & Satsanga

In these gatherings we honor the Divinity within us and collectively invoke the grace of the Divine presence through an hour of kirtan, chanting Sanskrit mantras and mystical song with Liam, followed by a Satsanga talk by Maetreyii Ma and then meditation. Now in its 17th season, Windsor’s signature summer event is a 2-hour free concert on the Town Green, with a family-friendly atmosphere. Come hungry! There are many food booths and restaurants surrounding the Town Green from which to choose. Parking is available at Windsor High School, with round-trip shuttle to the Town Green. Spots on the grass may be reserved beginning at 6 a.m. the morning of the concert.

2018 Sonoma County Yarn Hop

July 21 – 22, 2018

The 6th annual Sonoma County Yarn Hop is coming this July! Hop around to 4 yarn shops in Sonoma County on Saturday & Sunday, July 21 & 22. The participating spaces are: Purls of Joy in Healdsburg, Cast Away in Santa Rosa, Yarnitudes in Sebastopol, and Fiber Circle Studio in Cotati. Collect a stamp from each shop to be entered in the raffles taking place at each shop! Each shop is offering 20% off and more on select merchandise, and will have other specials going on like demonstrations, free patterns, snacks and drinks, etc… Each shop will be offering a special free pattern at this years Hop, collect all 4 as you hop around!
