Frequently asked questions

Where are we holding Costco Mom Hour?

This event will take place locally at the Novato Costco 300 Vintage Way, Novato, California 94945 (as well as in over 98 other warehouses throughout the US – here’s the list that you can share with friends in other cities including Portland, San Francisco, L.A. and San Diego!

When does this event begin?

The event begins at 9 a.m. (PST)– a full hour before Costco opens to the public!

Do I need to print my ticket?

You do NOT need to print off your ticket – but we do ask you to register so we can plan accordingly! If your kids will be enjoying the breakfast, please register them too!

Can I bring my kids?

Of COURSE you can!

Why is it Costco “Mom” Hour? Doesn’t that exclude dads?

It’s Costco “Mom” Hour because we are a Mom Blog! But of COURSE all are welcome (and should register if they attend): dads, single friends and grandparents-bring everyone!

Why Friday? I work.

We are aware that 9 a.m. is not ideal for everybody – but we do our best to schedule our events at various times and if this event doesn’t work for you, we hope the next one will.

Why Novato? I wish Santa Rosa was participating!

We hear you! Just so you know, the Novato Costco is so so wonderful, with a huge organic section, wide parking spots, and super friendly staff. Costco chose the locations for our Mom Hour, and we so hope you can make it! For those Santa Rosans who still want to go: the Novato membership manager drives from Santa Rosa to Novato, and she says that to arrive at 9 a.m., she needs to leave 35-40 minutes prior. So it’s really not that much further than Petaluma!

What do we get for attending?

  • The first 100 people (adults) to arrive at Novato will receive a swag bag (one per family) – you can expect to receive Kirkland Signature items such as: nuts, trail mix, fruit snacks, microwave popcorn, applesauce pouch, granola bars, juice boxes, chocolate milk, VitaRain, Mr. Clean, Pantene AC, Crest WS, Downy Unstoppables, Bounce, Tide Pods & a Protein Chocolate Shake!  Please note there ARE items with allergens in the bags!
  • Continental breakfast will be available (at no cost) with items including: coffee, orange juice, cranberry juice, fruit, muffins, danishes, etc.
  • We will have several Sonoma County Moms Blog team members  present! Stop by and say hello!
  • There will be samples chosen specifically for moms and kids!
